a very good concept in this :D I'd have liked the dark hand to be totally black though, now it has white dots in it... there also seems to be a bit of pixelation or something around the lips.. I like the composition... and the pic as a whole :)

the texture of the hand is special but attracting, in integral integral contrast with the face... wonderful photo :silentkitty:

...::: What's the fuck? :::...
:iconkrapnek:
I should have let the paint in the hand dry out before shooting, it reflects too much light now. Perhaps that's why the texture looks weird.
Thank you so much. :hug:

"...negative space is the space that is not your subject...The negative space is defined by the edges of the positive space and the frame or border. [...] Sometimes the negative space is completely bounded by the positive space. What is important also to note is that the negative space also defines our subject.

" "You want him [the viewer] to discover things that might not be so obvious."

Amen ja kiitos, Ollilili. ;)

The white dots are part of the paint that isn't dry enough yet - the light reflects from the wet paint. I was too impatient to wait for the paint to dry before shooting :P
The pixelation on the lips might be also because of the paint but this time it's too dry and started to crack. :|

Of course there's always photoshop and I will fix the details sooner or later, thank you for pointing them out. :)

Exactly, I tried to capture the feeling that she's being pulled away from something she truly desires.
Thank you. :hug:
