Pouring Hannah

Hannah's sister, being only eight, was certainly surprised
to wake one more and quickly note her sister had been liquefied.
She lay not in her bed, but rather sat inside a jar.
"Oh, my word! What have I done by wishing 'pon a star?"

Hannah's sister, (and at this point her name will be provided:
her parents named her Joofaline; some say they were misguided.)
But name or none, this Joofaline felt great pangs of remorse,

He was laying there for 4 days and nobody cared. Even I didn't care.
It is humane to walk past the bum. If he even was one. I never stopped to ask.
Is it in our nature to feel compassion only towards ourselves?

the shot itself is good, no doubt. What i'm not getting here after reading all the comments is whether you think it's ok to have walked past him for 4 days and done nothing? And repeating this humane line makes no sense. I think you mean human...but even then that would be wrong. I wouldn't be able to stand myself if i didn't check on him...and for any of you who thinks it's ok to walk on by needs to put yourselves in his shoes.
It's not a 'style' to be uncaring...it's your choice.
